Splendid copper frontispiece with allegorical figures engraved by Antonio Novelli based on drawings by Jacopo Leonardi, two-color frontispiece with copper vignette, engraved friezes and finials, portrait of A. engraved in copper designed by A. Caracci and engraved from Novelli, 20 splendid plates f.t. finely engraved in copper by Leonardis based on drawings by P. Novelli, one for each canto, a further 95 large copper engravings n.t., also half-page, depicting scenes from the opera and topics, animated drop caps at the beginning of each canto and title within elegant frieze, marginal browning and damp stains, contemporary binding in full Bazzana, spine with five bands with compartments decorated with golden friezes and title on red insert, red spray cuts, peeling and small losses on the spines.
