Beautiful and rare illustrated edition of the works of Lodovico Ariosto. The first forty-six cantos of the famous chivalric poem are included in the first volume. The last five cantos "that follow the material" of the Furioso are, however, printed in the second volume, together with other works by the author: seven comedies, two in prose, five in verse, a letter to Bembo, the Rime, the Erbolato, the Satires and poems in Latin.
