Specialist Notes

Manuscripts, autographs and musical books have represented for centuries the main vehicle for disseminating music which, in order to be remembered, interpreted and performed, has been - and still is - handed down in written form. The musical book tells the history of Italian and international music and, in addition to the cultural and artistic value, the ancient scores are a meeting place of skill and competence, passion and talent. In this manuscript three of the major rondo authors of the 18th century "meet", with 4 compositions performed at the Teatro Valle in Rome (1787) or at the San Carlo in Naples (1786). A precious historical testimony.
