SALE 290

Please note that the results listed on this page are inclusive of Finarte Buyer's Premium and exclusive of any applicable taxes and costs, unless otherwise noted.

This auction presents an eclectic selection featuring 300 lots from around the world. This sale offers a unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to acquire works of historical and artistic value, originating from countries such as Italy, England, France, Germany, Portugal, Iran, and Russia.

A particularly rare and significant highlight of the selection is a collection of Genoese silver from the 18th and 19th centuries. The most significant lots of the auction are the renowned “Torretta” pieces, iconic symbols of the refined silversmithing tradition of Genoa, alongside other exceptional works, such as an important coffee pot from the historic Savoy tradition.

Each piece, with its own history, elegance and innovation, is a testimony to the different schools of silversmithing and design that have marked the past centuries. Rounding out the sale are well-known and refined Italian silversmiths and designers such as Buccellati and Bulgari.
