Double-edged forged iron blade worked on both sides with fine engravings; lozenge-shaped openings on the vertical axis of the blade into which 8 copper discs have been inserted. Wooden handle covered with copper foil and plate.
Signs of prolonged use.
Names of origin : Ingondà, MopambaKnife made by the Poto, a group living along both banks of the Congo River, between the mouths of the Ituri and Mongala rivers. Specimens made in similar shapes are also known from neighboring groups.
