Type of knife also produced and used by neighboring groups such as Togbo, Banja and Ngbandi. It was used as an object of ostentation during tribal ceremonies. It was also used as a medium of exchange in commercial transactions and, especially, in marriage contracts.
Refined blade engravings are characteristic of the weapons of this group.
