Double shear blade made of forged iron with shaped ribs on both sides. Wooden handle covered at the end with a series of copper bullets. Period patina. This is a widespread knife among the various Mongo groups living in the equatorial region along the bend of the Congo River. The shape of the blade varies according to the traditions of the indigenous blacksmiths.
