Bore with light pitting especially at the nozzle and visible rifling. frame with upper tang featuring model mark, lower tang with serial number "223xxx B". Brass elevator block (problems with lifting it), marked "22 CAL SHORT". Working mechanism. Smooth, walnut butt and fore-end. Iron mounts. Smooth butt plate without gate. Beautiful, non-recent re-bluing.
