Virgilio Brocchi was the author of a series of novels intended for the general public that met with some success, written and published at the rate of about one per year.
Of declared socialist faith he was very close to leading exponents of the movement, including Filippo Turati.
The last years of his life in Liguria, on the hills above Nervi.
