Information

For the first time in the history of the Archivio Corrado Millanta® - Milano, three photographs of this renowned Collection will be auctioned: the portraits of three iconic figures of the automotive history, Alberto Ascari, Enzo Ferrari, and Tazio Nuvolari.

The three images are dated, numbered, embossed with the pressed logo of the Archivio Corrado Millanta® - Milano, and will be accompanied by a written Certificate of Authenticity from the Archive.

The prints are hand-crafted with the platinum-palladium printing technique by Giancarlo Vaiarelli, master of this prestigious fine-art procedure, that makes each image almost everlasting, unique and unrepeatable, a true masterpiece in its own. The dimensions of each photograph are 28x35cm (including the emulsion brush), and all images are printed on handcrafted paper (Arches Platine - France - 310gsm), expressly made for platinum-palladium prints. The photographs will be provided within a hand-made passe-partout, and framed, with a final dimension of each complete image of 40x50 cm.

These three photographs are the only ones that have ever been authorized by the Archivio Corrado Millanta® - Milano to be auctioned as of today, and the whole proceeds of the sale are donated to charity to the Italian Foundation for Research in Hepatology (FIRE, Fondazione Italiana Ricerca in Epatologia onlus).
