6-1/2", round, 36 cal. barrel (some pitting inside, visible rifling), marked "ADDRESS COL SAM.L COLT NEW-YORK US AMERICA" on the back. Barrel wedge with numbering matching with the other parts. Rebated, five-shot cylinder with remains of stagecoach scene; legible patent and serial number matching the frame. Working mechanism. Frame with serial number "2xx", traces of the same serial number at the base of the barrel and clearly visible and matching numbering on the grip straps. These both made of brass. Pin of the cylinder without numbers, "B" mark inside. Iron surfaces with signs of use, time and pitting. Trigger guard marked "36 CAL". Walnut grip.
