Octagonal, rifled, 3-1/2", 31 cal barrel (visible rifling, pitting inside) with brass cusped front sight, mark with 1885 patent, remains of Hartford address between crosses. Grooved, five-shot cylinder with the patent marking. Frame with spur trigger. Working mechanism, but it does not hold the half-cocking position. Serial number "14xx". Walnut handle with small missing parts. Pitting, signs of use and time. Fourth Model.
