Illustrated cover with a sepia-toned photographic portrait of Joseph Beuys. Volume entirely illustrated with black and white photographic images by Ulrike Bergold, René Block, Mark Feidus, Franz Fischer, Ute Klophaus, Jürgen Müller-Schneck, Lorraine Senna and Caroline Tisdall. Print run of 1000 copies. Original exhibition catalog (New York, Ronald Feldman Gallery, November / December 1979). The work consists of the "wrecks" of two previous installations: "I Like Amerika and Amerika Likes Me" (Manhattan, René Block, May 1974) and "Joseph Beuys. Ja, jetzt brechen wir hier den Scheiss ab Coyote II "(Berlin, Galerie Block, September 1979). In the first, lasting 3 days, Beuys lives near a coyote, managing to overcome the animal's initial distrust. In the second, Beuys destroys the Berlin headquarters of the Galerie Block.
