Fine mercury-gilt bronze hilt, cup-shaped rain guard decorated with Spanish coat-of-arms, trophies and floral motifs; from it departs a two-loop-guards extension that culminates at the parry quillon and loop-guard respectively. Vase-shaped pommel engraved with trophies. Gilt bronze grip resembling the wire binding.
