In well-preserved brown leather but with obvious signs of use and time. Featuring remains of the Army Air Force coat of arms painted on the left shoulder. On the chest a beautiful leather patch of the 116th Observation Squadron, depicting the ace of spades pierced by a dagger. The original liner, in poor condition with torn and broken parts, features various Air Force acceptance marks; in addition, a name and serial number have been handwritten on it. The production label is present with a contract number referring to 29 April 1942, with an order assigned to The Cable Raincoat Co. for the production of 50,000 units. The original zip is still working. Period: Second World War
