Elegant and refined set of mounts worked en suite. In shakudo nanako. The outer surface is finely grained. The fuchi decorated in relief with an effigy of a crane in flight and bamboo canes in relief, the figures embellished in shibuichi and gold. Mei: Masanori Ishiguro. The kashira with background worked en suite and elegant effigy of the full moon (also gilded and with some very slight scratches) peeping through the clouds. Blade opening 2.7 cm. Period: probably late Edo, 19th century. Kept in a kiri-box.
