Six-shot cylinder featuring still visible naval battle scene, only the mark "COLT'S PATENT" and legible serial number. Working mechanism. Frame with "COLT'S PATENT" mark on the left side. Brass gripstraps with traces of silver plating. Trigger guard marked "36 CAL". Matching serial number "148xxx" on the barrel, cartridge rammer (partial), barrel wedge (partial), cylinder, frame and gripstraps. Smooth, walnut grip.
