HILDESHEIM’, long brass foresight, slightly bell-mouthed nozzle. Tang decorated en suite. Partly gilded lock richly carved with floral motifs in bas-relief. Wooden full stock, finely carved with garlands and palmettes. Mounts made of mercury-gilded bronze majestically engraved with trophies, old-fashioned warriors, masks, rocaille and floral motifs; on the back a shield charged with electoral crown, probably Hanover. Horn-tipped, wooden ramrod.
