Straight, double-edged blade (milled at the tip) with acid-etched Savoy coat-of-arms, trophies and floral motifs. Gilt brass hilt (re-gilt?), the shell-guard with Savoy eagle on fasces and under crown, parry quillon and loop-guard with lion's head, pommel with laurel wreath, the rest with floral decorations in bas-relief. Ebony grip. Leather scabbard with remains of black dye and gilt brass mounts engraved with floral motifs. Two lugs.
