Curved, single-and-short-false-edged blade, with fuller for a good part of its length and grooved beside the back, the tang marked "G" and with a crowned "B". Marked 'Coulaux aine C.ie a Klingenthal' at the back. Gilded brass hilt with three loop guards, the main one marked "G", "27" and crowned "B". Short smooth cap. Grip with leather cover and brass wire binding. Iron scabbard with a single lug and featuring two marks "B" within ellipses, remains of other marks, signs of use and time.
