Octagonal, rifled, 36 cal barrel (clean bore, visible rifling), provided with front sight, marked in three lines with 1858 patent, the company address and "NEW-MODEL". A crack at the breech. Smooth, six-shot cylinder. Brass trigger guard with remains of finishing. A small crack near the cartridge rammer on the left side only, and two cuts at the base of the hammer. Serial number "37XXX" under the barrel (same numbering on the handle, but with an additional crossed-out number). Remains of approx. 50% of browning. Working mechanism that needs revision. Light-coloured, wooden grips with an additional open-work. Ring for the strap.
