Smoothbore, round, 17 mm cal. barrel with flat back, this one marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS", the base engraved with floral motifs between two horns (one made of silver), brass foresight; engraved tang provided with fore-end. Percussion lock with flat lock plate signed "WESTLEY RICHARDS" and engraved with racemes, silver lined disc under the nipple; safety lock. Wooden full stock (small defects) with checkered butt. Iron mounts engraved en suite, silver shield on the back. Replaced iron ramrod (originally articulated).
