Smoothbore barrel with octagonal breech, then round, made of damask and provided with white metal foresight, 16.8 mm cal. at the nozzle. On the lower side the signature "T. LHOIST BREVETE A CHERATTE", the marking ".20", "16.4", "RI" and a lily. Various small elements engraved with rocaille and floral motifs. Inspector's mark "T" on the side. Six-shot cylinder with working mechanism (the rotation in not always working properly), the chambers engraved with rocaille on the back and the percussion in line with the chamber. On the lower side of the frame a wooden gripping knob serving as a substitute for the fore-end. The frame is also finely engraved with rocaille. Walnut butt checkered at the base and a fine ornament sculpted as lion's head on the lower part of the blade, provided with glass eyes. The cheekpiece with ornament carved with rocaille. Iron mounts. Trigger guard decorated with curls and spirals and carved with rocaille and net.
