Rifled, octagonal, 11 mm cal barrel (needs cleaning) signed ‘BRISTLEN A MORGES’ at the base (breech with a missing part), provided with foresight and clutch for the bayonet. Slightly engraved tang provided with peep sight. Backward spring lock with plate slightly engraved with floral motifs, signed ‘BRISTLEN’. Working mechanism. Wooden half stock. Iron mounts. Set trigger. Quick release screws. Trigger guard with finger support, in front of it is the wooden pommel mounted on an iron support. Elliptical shield near the counterplate marked ‘G. TAVEL /A. GIMEL 1850’. Iron ramrod and brass base for the cartridge extractor.
