Slightly engraved tang provided with peep sight. Backward spring lock with plate slightly engraved with floral motifs, signed ‘BRISTLEN’. Working mechanism. Wooden half stock. Iron mounts. Set trigger. Quick release screws. Trigger guard with finger support, in front of it is the wooden pommel mounted on an iron support. Elliptical shield near the counterplate marked ‘G. TAVEL /A. GIMEL 1850’. Iron ramrod and brass base for the cartridge extractor.
