Octagonal, rifled, damask, 12 mm cal barrels (clean bores, clearly visible rifling), with marks of the Liege test bench, front sight; engraved tangs with sight; backward spring lock signed "JOVALETTI A TURIN" and engraved with floral motifs. Three-quarter stocks finely sculpted with lion's head at the fore-end caps, knurled butts and oval butt plates carved with floral motifs, engraved iron mounts, trigger guards with finger rests, butt plates with drum featuring a shell-shaped lid. Set trigger. Originally designed for a cased set, without ramrod. Working mechanism. With oval, gold shield featuring the owner's monogram and numbers "1" and "2" at the back.
