A fine work depicting the coat of arms of the City of Westminster held by two lions and placed on a cartouche with the motto 'CUSTODI CIVITATEM DOMINE'. Behind the inscription 'COUNCILLOR S.P.B. BUCKNILL J. P. 22nd MAYOR OF THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER 1924-25 PRESENTED BY ALDERMAN EDGAR HORNE', and on the right side 'ALSO MAYOR 1926-27'. With various stamps below, including "375". 25 gr. Suspension ring. This is likely the pendant of the chain worn by the mayor of the renowned city of Westminster. It comes in a case (probably not pertinent) of the jeweler "Butt" in Chester.
