Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller on almost all its length, with short tang. Pitting, signs of use and time. Signed "Peter Willhelm Knecht Fabriquant in Solingen" at the back. Width at the base: 3.7 cm. Length: approx. 78 cm. Brass hilt. Stirrup guard (repair probably made in the period of use) webbed upwards. Langets engraved with "X" at the centre, straight parry quillon. Outlined, long cap. Wooden grip with remains of copper wire binding. Without scabbard.
