Menhari-gata type (opening fan). Frame with two outer staves made of iron, the inner ones of wood. The membrane made of two layers of paper. One face decorated with Tomoe-mon within Sakura (cherry blossom) all surmounted by a crossed bow and arrow; the opposite face with ideograms. Stains, signs of time and a broken part in the membrane. Period: probably late Edo, mid-19th century.
