dating: 19th Century provenance: Sumatra, Slightly curved, single-edged blade made of fine pamor. Short and stubby hilt made of carved wood and with engraved silver ring-nut. Scabbard made of carved wood, pierced at the cap, the central part with a lizard in bas-relief above a short inscription in Batak (on both sides). Silver mounts decorated in filigree. Rare. length 33 cm.
