dating: 19th Century provenance: Kalimantan, Slightly curved, single-edged blade with sober carvings at the back near the weak. Small hilt made of carved deer-horn, covered with vegetable fiber wire binding at the base. Slightly carved, wooden scabbard with intertwined rattan bands. Complete with suspension rope and closing button. For a boy's initiation. Rare. length 54 cm.
