dating: 19th Century provenance: Maluku Islands, Wide, single-edged blade made of pamor, with a long narrow tang first, then increasing towards the weak with a triangular tip. Faceted horn hilt with large guard decorated with small circles and undulated edges. Large wooden pommel with narrow base; bands made vegetable and metal wire binding. Beautiful and rare sword. length 78 cm.
