dating: End of 19th beginning of 20th Century provenance: Kalimantan, Curved, single-edged blade (Kenyah-baieng) with partial carvings at the back and at the base, engraved along the back with spirals. Double-tipped wooden hilt (rare with quality mandau) richly carved and decorated with black and white horsehair, the base with vegetable fiber braid. Partially carved, wooden scabbard decorated with colored horsehair, suspension rope made of woven fiber with wooden disc-shaped fastening decorated with rays. length 68 cm.
