dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Strong, straight, single-edged blade, with carvings at the back near the weak and the base, engraved on both sides. Deer-horn or bone hilt with vegetable fibre wire binding, the pommel richly carved and pierced. Carved wooden scabbard with vegetable fibre wire binding. Small missing parts. Remains of rope with a glass pendant shaped as a small bottle inscribed with Asian symbols. Rare. length 71 cm.
