dating: 19th Century provenance: Kalimantan, Straight, single-edged blade, richly inlaid with silver/brass stars and symbols on a side, finely carved on the back near the weak. Sculpted, bone hilt, covered with vegetable fibre wire binding at the base. Complete of wooden scabbard, partially sculpted and decorated with an engraved bone plate and with vegetable fibre wire binding. Complete of intertwined suspension rope. length 63 cm.
