dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Mindanao, Large, slightly curved, double-edged blade (very sharp), undulated and slightly engraved at the first part, then grooved at the center, richly carved at the base, pierced and provided with two white metal bands. Fine hilt made of sculpted wood, grip covered with silver inlay and wire binding. Wooden scabbard with horn warangka decorated with white metal dots, white metal chape, the central part covered with vegetal wire binding. length 63.5 cm.
