Paulo Roberto Falcão (Xanxerê, 16 October 1953) is a football manager, who played as a midfielder for Internacional, Roma and the Brazilian national team. Considered one of the strongest Brazilian midfielders in the history of football, after starting out in Internacional, he was purchased by Roma on 10 August 1980. In the 1982-1983 season he won his first Italian championship with Roma, the second in the history of the club, and in this season he made twenty-seven appearances and seven goals in the championship. With the Roma shirt he also won two Italian Cups: 1980-1981 and 1983-1984.
