David Seaman (born 19 September 1963) is an English footballer who plays a goalkeeper. Among the best English goalkeepers of all time, he was one of the strongest full-backs of the 1990s. He has a long history with Arsenal, with whom he made 450 appearances in the Premier League, and with the English national team, with whom he played two European Championships (1996 and 2000) and two World Cups (1998 and 2002); with his country's selection he took the field on 75 occasions, making him the second goalkeeper in terms of number of appearances after Peter Shilton. He also played for Peterborough Utd, Birmingham City, QPR and Manchester City. He won 3 English championships with Arsenal.
