Literature

Andreas Möller (Frankfurt am Main, 2 September 1967) is a German footballer who plays a midfielder. Having grown up as a footballer in Eintracht Frankfurt, his hometown team, in 1988 he moved to Borussia Dortmund for two seasons, winning his first trophy, the German Cup. In 1990 he returned to Frankfurt for the first time, playing for Eintracht until 1992. In Italy he wore the shirt of Juventus for two years who bought him for 3.5 billion lire, with whom he raised the UEFA Cup, also scoring the third and final goal in the victorious second leg final played against his former Dortmund teammates. The Juventus experience ended in 1994, after two seasons and 30 goals in the championship and cups. Returning to his homeland, right in the ranks of Borussia, here he won the Bundesliga twice and, in 1997, first the UEFA Champions League, beating his former Juventus team, the defending champion, in the final in Munich, and then the Intercontinental Cup , being elected best player of the final in this last event. Between 2000 and 2003 he then played for Schalke 04, lifting two German Cups and coming close to the national title in 2000-2001, when the Gelsenkirchen team was mocked by the equalizer obtained in the 94th minute of the last day by rivals Bayern Munich against Hamburg. He ended his career as a footballer in 2004, with one last season still in Frankfurt am Main. In the national team, from 1988 to 1999, he made 85 appearances and 29 goals, becoming world champion in 1990 and European champion in 1996.
