Specialist Notes

Reference 2811 is probably one of the rarest Rolex chronographs from the pre-war era. It has been produced in gold as well as in stainless steel, with the first generation specimens featuring olive-shaped chronograph pushers, whereas the second generation models, like the present watch, were designed with rectangular pushers. To the best of our knowledge this is the only 2811 with Verga Milan personalization to have ever appeared in the market.
