Literature

B.Mantura, P.Rosazza-Ferraris, Ettore Ferrari, catalogue of the exhibition, Latina, Palazzo della Cultura, 10 December 1988 - 30 January 1989, Milan - Rome 1988, file no. 40.

Typical of Ettore Ferrari's production, this long horizontal format, sort of frame that typeset a detail of the chosen landscape. The trees in the foreground, whose foliage remains tag liata outside the composition, are placed in the center of the painting, focused on the roots and gnarled olive trunks in the foreground. Painting, which has become a private fact in the artist's life, so full of public commitments linked to his sculptural production and his active adherence to Freemasonry, remains a pause calmed and soothing, attentive only to the natural data freely conducted.
