length 98 cm.
Wide, curved, single -and false-edged blade, with three grooves alternated on both sides with a cartouche at the first part, the one on the front side with inscription in Arabic "amal-i hinri wilkinsun-i landani" (work of Henry Wilkinson of London), the other marked "Recompense Nationale", at the end of the grooves another cartouche with dedication "Le 1er Consul BONAPARTE au Citoyen DE STAGNAC Tambour Major de la 75eme 1/2 Brigade au Nom du Peuple Francais" on one side and "Affaices du 17 et 22 Ventose AN IX pres d'Alexandrie Sieges d'El Harick, Jaffa, Saint Jean d'Acre" on the other; Mamluk-style hilt (damaged), iron cross-shaped quillon with dark horn grip scales, chain; wooden scabbard with red velvet covering, iron mounts with remains of engravings and trophies.
