length 92 cm.
Of the same type as the one of the Versailles Manufacture. Straight, double-edged, damask blade, ribbed at the centre, with double fuller, hollow tip on both sides of the blade, long tang of lenticular section, finely engraved with fasces, cane with snakes, sword, vase and laurel branches on a gilded background; signed "Manufacture de Klingenthal" and "Coulaux FrËres" at the base. Gilded brass hilt; quillon with six quillons: the outer ones curved, of hexagonal section, ending with dragons' heads, the central ones straight, capital-shaped, ending with feathers, shield-shaped quillon-block with a rooster on a side and an emu on the other; crown-shaped pommel with leaf-shaped button; ebony grip with longitudinal grooves, both sides decorated with winged, gilt brass fasces and silver thunderbolts; oak branches at the ring-nuts. Re-blued iron scabbard with gilt brass mounts decorated with floral and geometrical motifs in bas relief, a rayed eye at the centre; large, wing-shaped loops.
