Rifled barrel of round section, marked "V" and "M" under Helvetic cross, "U" and serial number "110xx", provided with adjustable rear sight and front sight, 10.4 mm cal at the nozzle, with browning. Clean bore, visible rifling. Frame with Peabody patent and address of the Providence Tool Co. Bolt with falling block. Working mechanism. Backward spring lock. Smooth, wooden butt and fore-end. Iron mounts and ramrod.
