length 72,3 cm.
Straight, double-edged blade with double fuller, decorated with gold inlays on half of its length depicting trophies and racemes, completely gilded and engraved. Gilded bronze hilt. Quillon with quillon block featuring a silver-colored monogram "CA" (for King Carlo Alberto) surrounded by a frame with faceted beads. Quillons with similar decorations. Handle slightly tapered downwards and decorated with floral motifs in relief and frames en suite. Fine cap shaped as a lion's head in relief with a chain featuring triple rings in its jaws. Leather scabbard (signs of use and time). Gilded brass hilt decorated with flowers and scales. Two lugs.
