Rome, Antonio De' Rossi, 1732-3. In 4°. Work in two volumes. Engraved frieze on the frontispiece, endpieces with a plate depicting the interior elevation of the Holy House of Loreto engraved in copper. Halos and burnishing. 19th-century parchment binding with spine with title and friezes impressed in brown, red sprayed edges. In the first volume there are two copper-engraved portraits: one depicts the Madonna of Loreto and is found on the frontispiece, the other represents Clement XII and is located on folio A1.
The most important historiographical work of the time dedicated to the Sanctuary of Loreto, illustrated with detailed plates, mostly double-page. A third volume of the work was published two years later, in 1735.
