Naples, Trani, 1849. In 8th. Binding, made in the Bottega dei Trani, in silky cloth with frames and large fleuron in the center of the plates, dry engraved. Limited edition. Slight blooms.

These two "reasonings" are the only political and economic writings of the Neapolitan man of letters (1830-1872), often confused with the more famous grandfather Cesare (1776-1860), the result of his brief youthful adhesion to Giobertian liberalism and participation in the political uprisings of '48.
