Lucca, Busdrago, 1564 [but actually Lucca, Bongi, 1856]. In 4th. 8 cc. Brand depicting a rampant dragon with human head and hood on the title page, EXAMPLE IN BLUE PAPER, editorial binding in full parchment with reproduction of the brand plates on the title page.
Specialist Notes
Very rare nineteenth-century edition, modeled on the sixteenth-century one, printed in Lucca in the mid-nineteenth century by Bonghi in only 24 copies, "including two on blue colored paper". This is one of the two known.
