In Rome, In the Printing House of Antonio de' Rossi, 1746. Folio (410×270 mm.), pp. 119. Complete with all six folded plates. On the frontispiece copper engraving with the coat of arms of Pope Benedict XIV; in the text 7 intaglio vignettes and 5 drop caps, water stain on the upper margin, light browning, more intense on a few leaves, slight foxing, small tear without loss on the internal margin of the plates, contemporary leather binding restored, slight defects.
The large panels depicting the Tiber, its courses and its large river basin are by Carlo Nolli based on drawings by Chiesa and Gambarini, while the beautiful cartoons and engravings of the Roman outline are by Piranesi. The authors of the collection of tables on the fall and leveling of the Tiber (cc. O3-O4) are Giovanni Bottari and Eustachio Manfredi. Large and elegant filigree. Rossetti 1877.
