Specialist Notes
In describing the Plan, the Liberator also talks about the people who inhabited that plain and the nearby villages. It provides a compendium of the history of Pentima, Sulmona and the noble families of Mazara, Chieti, Alfedene and Vallescura. Finally it describes the lands located around the Cinque Miglia Plan such as Rionero, Castel di Sangro, Roccaraso, Rivisondoli, Pesco Costanzo, Scanno and Barrea.
