Specialist Notes
Rare edition missing from the Opac which reports nine variants of the volume, with slightly changed titles or subtitles, prior to the present edition: Todi (1628), Treviso ( 1651), Macerata (1656), Padua (mid-17th century), Florence (mid-17th century), Milan (circa 1667), Venice and Bassano (Remondini, 1669), Bologna (1678), Venice (1795). The expression “Guess cricket” in the title appears only with the first editions of the nineteenth century. In all the others you only find the expression "Fake fate". Very rare.
